Please Note: The delivery of weekly Salsa turn pattern classes and club for all has now been handed over to Paul & Rosi from Humba Rumba.
Paul & Rosi from Humba Rumba have taken over so Laucinda can take a back seat from regular late-night Salsa events and parties in order for her to develop more daytime classes in ballet and ballroom for the over 50s and to work in the education sector as well. However, Laucinda and Gareth are still available for one off bookings, occasional workshops (see below) or private tuition (if their schedules allow), so from hen parties / weddings / birthdays and corporate team building events through to educational establishments and special needs environments, we can tailor fun classes and provide shows. We also have a range of Salsa and Samba costumes available for hire.
Workshops
Laucinda and Gareth will still be offering specialist Salsa workshops occasionally to include: On2 style aka New York Mambo workshops, Pachanga, Cha Cha, Bachata and Reggaeton, Merengue, Samba No Pe’, leader / follower styling, shines, technique, Afro-Latin Body Movement, spinning, performance, choreography and more (also On1 timing)!
LOCATION of these workshops is Huntington Memorial Hall on the north side of York and usually take place on occasional Sunday afternoons from 4-5.30 p.m. Please contact us for further dates.
PRICE for our Sunday Salsa / Latin based workshops cost £10 per person per class if booking in advance (£12 on door, space pending).
